Markdown mode
A per-note toggle splits any note into raw Markdown and a live, scroll-synced preview. Drag the divider to rebalance the panes, or switch back to the distraction-free editor.

modal editing, motions, and : commands, with a status line
under the editor.
Graphite & Onyx themes

The New Folder dialog now lets you choose the parent folder — or drop it at the library root — instead of only nesting under the current one.
Sharper drag & drop
Reorder, nest, and un-nest notes and folders with a drop indicator that follows the cursor. Moving a folder relocates its whole subtree on disk.

Notes are stored as plain .md files in a vault folder you choose — real directories, real files, YAML frontmatter. Open them in any editor, back them up anywhere.

Write in a distraction-free editor that styles Markdown inline as you type — or flip any note into Markdown mode: raw source on one side, a live scroll-synced preview on the other.
LaTeX math
Type $E=mc^2$ inline, $$…$$ for display math, or a fenced ```math block. KaTeX renders it live in the editor and preview — and it carries into HTML and PDF exports.

Type :today for today's date, :now for the time, or define your own text snippets. The trigger character is configurable in Settings.
